“Camden is a lovely place to visit and we enjoyed our visit, just wished we had stayed somewhere else”

The parking was convenient, yet the room was overpriced for its poor quality and didn’t match the description; the bathroom was no better, and it felt like a 2‑star motel room at a 5‑star price.

The building is a beautiful, characterful house in a great spot, easy to reach Camden’s center, and the breakfast was very good; overall the stay was pleasant and the property definitely has charm. However, we had trouble contacting the hotel before arrival: the check‑in had a fixed time, and we called repeatedly without a reply. The room was on the first floor, accessed by a narrow staircase, and it was very cold when we arrived, but they solved the issue by bringing us a heater from another room. The private bathroom was outside the room, though this was clearly stated in the description when we booked.
