“Excellent good value premesis”
The room was spacious and comfortable, complete with cereal, milk, a toaster, and a kettle in the fridge; the bathroom had a nice shower, and the patio outside had a table and chairs where I could sit quietly overlooking a well‑kept garden, and there was secure off‑road parking on site.

The bedroom was large, clean, and well equipped with an ensuite, and there was off‑road parking; the hostess was delightful, and I liked everything.
I cannot recommend this place enough; everything was perfect, the host Maria was lovely, and nothing was too much trouble.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Old Orchard, with a clean and comfortable room and a thoughtful touch of milk and cereal left by Maria; we dined at the York Inn a short walk away on our first night and had a great meal, so we’d definitely return—though the fridge made a strange noise at night that sounded like a break‑in attempt, which after the initial scare turned out to be harmless.
