The Golden Tulip Leiden Centre is a 4-star hotel situated directly opposite Leiden railway station, within a 5-minute walk of the historic city centre. Each modern room features a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, private bathroom with complimentary soap and shampoo, minibar, and tea/coffee maker.

Close to the train station and the center. The immediate area is not very interesting. The fitness center is outside the hotel. The bar/restaurant closes early.

Parking costs 25 Euro per day, which is very expensive. The room has strong drainage smells and the room facing the street is very loud. Breakfast is not included, and the price‑performance ratio does not match.

The location, rooms, and food were good, but because of a misunderstanding on our part about single and double beds in the Netherlands we requested a room change, were placed in a room with a terrible smell and asked to be moved back. They did move us back, but there was a lot of confusion on your side as to why.
