The owner was very friendly, the food was great and the service excellent, yet the room was clean but the furnishings looked like they were from the 1970s and the bathroom was tiny.

We spent three wonderful days at Landgasthaus Kurz; the host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast was truly superb—generous, fresh, and a great start to the day. We also dined at the restaurant on two of the three evenings; the food was delicious, well prepared, and the atmosphere pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys hospitality, good food, and a pleasant stay. Nothing fell short of our expectations.

We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the heat and enjoy the cool, quiet Black Forest. The hotel is very welcoming, conveniently located for visiting nearby attractions and towns. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast is truly excellent, offering a wide selection of quality products. We especially liked the small fridge in the hallway, always stocked with fresh drinks for guests—a simple but much appreciated detail. Overall, a very positive experience that we recommend without hesitation.
