The Country Yard

The rooms were roomy and spotless, and the food tasted great, but the air conditioning barely worked, there was no hot water as promised, the lights were too few and dim, the charging points were dead, and we had to pay extra for an “air‑conditioning room” called deluxe, yet it had none of the deluxe perks.

The rooms should have been cleaned and the bedsheets changed before we arrived; instead, the sheets were dirty and the room itself was filthy.

The location by the lake is great, the rooms are clean, and the owners and staff are very helpful.
