The place sits in a beautiful spot, the owners were very friendly and the room was spotless—perfect for spotting planes. I’d definitely recommend it.

“I enjoyed my stay here its very quite and look forward to going back.”

I didn’t need breakfast because the self‑catering setup worked fine for me, and the location was ideal since my friends were staying at a campsite just five minutes away. If I’d known about this spot earlier, I’d have booked it years back. As an aviation fan, it’s great to be next to RAF Mildehall and fifteen minutes from RAF Lakenheath. The only downside was no TV, but I’m not a TV junkie, so overall I loved staying in the Shepherds Hut. I’m already planning to return in three days.

The hut was adorable and cozy, very clean and had everything I needed. I also appreciated the orange and croissants for breakfast.
