I was woken up twice by trains, so I didn’t get enough sleep; the hotel’s location isn’t very quiet.
“Had a wonderful nights sleep.”
Booking and check‑out were easy, and the room was perfect for a single traveler.
The place was spotless and the setting was peaceful, but the bathroom felt a bit cramped.
The service was friendly, but the proximity to the highway meant trucks passing made it noisy at times.

Ararat is a charming quiet town that’s easy to navigate, and the close distance to the Grampians—just a 30‑minute drive—was a major advantage. The cabin at the caravan park turned out to be the best we’ve stayed in; everything we required was provided. We did have to wait between showers for the water to re‑heat, and the fridge was over‑freezing our items, though we didn’t inform the owners.
