“Skuffende”

The quiet and view were nice, the toilet and cabin were clean and tidy, but everything was self‑service with too many code locks—both for the caravan, the toilets, the bathroom, and the kiosk. It was very inconvenient, poorly lit, and not wheelchair friendly.

The facilities were good, but the cabin (the barrel) was really bad for the price of 495 kr plus 80 kr for bedding. The same price got me a super nice double room at Thyborøn Hotel, and at Danhostel Fjalting I paid 450 kr plus 75 kr for bedding, which was also great. The barrel cabin should cost at most half that. It felt like an acrobat’s task to move around, the door couldn’t lock from the outside, and the floorboards were uneven. I would never recommend a barrel stay to anyone.

We could not stay in a campsite, the cabin we had booked was too small for 2 adults. The reception promised to refund the money, so we searched for different accomdation

“Pas på med at booke hytter her.”

A lively campsite close to the beach with clean shower and toilet facilities. We had booked a bungalow (as shown on the confirmation) and the photos displayed a regular cabin, so we were shocked to find ourselves in a 6 m² barrel with beds we had to climb into. The door was drafty and let wind in from the west. There wasn’t much shade on the site. An obligatory cleaning fee of 180 kr is charged, yet there’s hardly anything to clean because the barrel has only a few boards. I’ve contacted the site for a refund of the fee, but they haven’t responded.
