Florian turned out to be an incredibly attentive host—he catered to every little request we had and even treated us to some outstanding homemade meals. One afternoon he walked a short stretch of our trail with us, pointing out a handy shortcut. The cabin sits in a gorgeous spot, so we’d definitely suggest it as a pit‑stop for anyone trekking through the mountains.

The owners are wonderful, even if their English is limited, and they served food straight from their garden that was absolutely delicious. Their cat adds a charming touch, and they were quick to adjust the menu for a nut allergy in our party. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay.
