The room looked nice, the village was peaceful, and the owner was friendly and helpful, supplying everything we asked for. I found nothing to complain about.

The guesthouse in Sfântu Gheorghe was wonderful, close to the lighthouse, with shared cooking, dining, and social areas. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable.

“Liniste, natura, plaja soare.”

The guesthouse had a huge courtyard, ample play areas for kids, a barbecue spot, a fishing pontoon, a dining space, and a fully equipped professional kitchen. The hosts were attentive and responsive to all client requests. The rooms were thermally insulated, so we never needed the air conditioner. The only issue was that the TV in our room didn’t work; I’m not sure why, but I’m confident the hosts will fix it.

The hosts were very helpful and generous, doing everything to make my stay enjoyable. They picked me up and dropped me off at the ferry, organized a full‑day fishing trip (see photos), and Maria cooked delicious grilled fresh fish without asking for payment. I was welcomed with a glass of homemade cherry brandy—tasty! The Casa has a huge, friendly dog and eight cats that line up to be petted. I didn’t catch much bird life, but I could hear jackals howling from my bed. The room was spotless, warm, had a great shower, and was very quiet. Marin and Maria communicated well, and Denisova’s daughter and son, who speak excellent English, were ready to help with any issues. I’d highly recommend Casa Valurile Marii for solo travelers or families, and there’s even a playground for kids.
