The staff are very attentive and always on hand. The location is excellent, right next to all of Paraty’s historic area. The bed and shower are very good. The ventilation is poor, with the window facing the lodge corridor and no view at all, but I understand it’s an old house and what existed has been preserved. It’s worth it.

The lodge is simple but very well located, clean, and the owners are very kind and helpful.

The location is excellent, the staff are polite and helpful. The bathroom is tiny and needs maintenance.

The spot is great—right in the middle of everything. The only downside? No breakfast provided, so I had to hunt for a coffee shop first thing in the morning.

Spot on location and the price is pretty low, which is a win. The room, however, feels like a cave because the window faces the hallway instead of the street, so it’s pretty dark.
