This was one of the best-equipped inns I've stayed at; every detail is considered. The décor is classic Japanese yet modern, stylish, and extremely cozy, but the real treasure is the Wakamiya family. I felt instantly welcome, like visiting relatives, and the visit to Takamatsu was worthwhile just for that.

“とても暖かい雰囲気に包まれたゲストハウス”

I appreciated the host’s communication during dinner and after, especially since I was considering relocation; talking with a resident was invaluable. The house is a single‑family home with a reasonably spacious open area, making it the perfect environment for traveling with a mischievous 2‑year‑old boy. I can’t think of any negatives.

The family’s welcome is very pleasant, and you quickly feel at home. Everything is clean and well thought out. The house is within walking distance of the city center and close to several public transport options, with nearby restaurants and cafés. For those sensitive to noise, a road and a railway line are close, but free biscuits are provided on site.

“Highly recommended”

A genuinely pleasant stay at this welcoming guesthouse. Traveling with our 4‑year‑old, the hosts were incredibly accommodating, taking time to ensure we had everything we needed, from travel plans to local restaurants, taxi hire, and more. Highly recommended!
