The Linaker Art Deco Motel is situated amidst heritage-listed gardens in a peaceful location, featuring a restored historic art deco building. This charming accommodation is a 20-minute walk from Beechworth Town Centre and a 15-minute walk from Lake Sambell, with Albury Airport a 50-minute drive away. Heated rooms offer flat-screen TVs, refrigerators, and tea/coffee facilities, along with private bathrooms and free toiletries.

The old Beechworth Asylum gives the property character, and the large room—though it got chilly even with the heater—was comfy and warm; the view over Beechworth and the five‑minute drive into town were perfect.

The place sits on a hill with lovely gardens, great parking, and a solid price, so I can’t find anything to criticize.

A short walk to the CBD made the price a good deal, but everything feels dated, the iron leaked, and after arranging a late checkout we had to knock on our door 30 minutes early to explain we’d overstayed.
