The ambience is wonderfully chilled out, and the host Mickey is exceptionally warm and welcoming; the room decor blew me away, the location is great—right in front of the beach and close to all restaurants—and I loved the breakfast too.

The second‑floor yoga class each morning, even as a complete beginner, was amazing with the sea view, and the nearby fish restaurant suits Japanese palates; walking at night feels safe with families and locals around.

I stayed at Majo House on Cherai Beach and it was absolutely wonderful. Mickey and his team gave us a friendly, personal vibe and went above and beyond with their care. The morning yoga on the breezy roof terrace overlooking the Arabian Sea was a must. I would have loved to extend my stay. The only thing that could improve is adding a ceiling fan on the terrace.
