For the price, the place was a solid find – clean, tidy and right near a metro stop with plenty of eateries and shops around. The hosts were super friendly, spoke English, and were quick to answer any questions we had. We never had any hiccups, so I’d definitely suggest it for a Shanghai trip with friends or family.

The host gave us a warm welcome and lots of handy tips about the area. Being close to a big mall and a foodie pedestrian street made meals and shopping easy, and the living room was both roomy and comfy. The bed was nicely soft, guaranteeing a good night’s sleep. The only drawback was the single, modest‑sized bathroom, but it was functional enough. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The spot is spot‑on for museum lovers – the Natural History Museum is literally across the street, and there’s a big park just a short walk away. The building shows its age, but the rooms are tidy, the living room feels spacious, and everything felt decent overall.

“Pictures provided by host are misleading”

The host was nice enough to reach out before we arrived and check on our travel details, and the apartment does have a washing machine (though no dryer, so you’ll have to air‑dry your clothes). The location looked good on the map, but you still need a cab to get to any real attractions.
