The room and bathroom were huge and spotless, but the silence was a bit too intense.

The lady is extremely attentive and polite, speaks flawless English, and offers loads of tips on local tourism and food. Highly recommend.

The owner is very helpful, engaged, generous, and flexible. The rooms are great, well‑thought‑out, and comfortable, and the location is convenient for transport.

The place is safe, in a gated neighbourhood, and within walking distance of the old town; the host speaks great English and gives solid local advice, even booked a bus for my Tiger Leaping Gorge hike and stored my luggage for two days free of charge. However, there was no family‑style buffet dinner, probably because there were few guests – a real pity given the glowing reviews – and the building and rooms feel very dated.
