APA Hotel Hatchobori Ekiminami

The service and staff are excellent!!! It’s only two blocks from Hatchobori Station and close to Ginza. However, you could hear conversations from other rooms, and it lacks the sound insulation that other APA hotels have.

“Would stay again.”

I found the place in a great spot, just a 20‑minute stroll to Tokyo station, and the bathroom feels modern with phone charging and light switches conveniently placed beside the bed. The only downside was the thin walls; I could hear people chatting in the room next to mine.

The hotel sits close to Exit A3 of Bando‑Hori Station (elevator available), and a FAMIMA is right at the exit; walking to the hotel takes only five minutes. Two LAWSONs also line the road in front of the hotel. The rooms are small, as expected, especially during the Tokyo Toy Show and the Silver Holiday. For the price, finding a hotel near the Keiyo Line is a win. Soundproofing is good; aside from a corridor conversation, there’s almost no noise. Free Wi‑Fi is fast enough, and after ten nights they offered a simple cleaning service. The only issue was the sheets on the first two nights, which made me itch all over; after the first cleaning they improved, but on the last night, when the sheets were changed again, the itching returned. It’s a minor flaw, but it doesn’t ruin the stay. Perhaps letting guests choose their cleaning days would help.

“Forgettable”

The location was fine, but the room we received had a musky odor that was a bit off-putting.
