The dinner was excellent and the chef was great, yet the chalet I paid for was not what I expected: it was the smallest (no. 25), had no balcony, was makeshift and the only one in that style, and it was noisy (the last one, almost against the road wall, with the hotel gate at the chalet window). The Wi‑Fi should have been placed in the middle of the small interior room. We stayed 4 days, but they kept good chalets (all good except this one) for the holiday. It rained for 4 days and we couldn’t even leave the chalet door, the roof was barely there. They didn’t apologize. I had to pay in full because, according to them, the “Genius” option on Booking couldn’t be split into installments. The receptionist still claimed it was the standard we had booked. That’s a lie.

The staff were polite, attentive, and friendly, but the doors were noisy because they were jammed. They rented the event hall to a church, and the singing started loudly at 8 am.

Overall we liked the value for money, but the hotel has many little things that could be improved.
