The night was quiet even though the building is right next to the railroad, and the staff were very flexible with a last‑minute booking. However, no staff were present when we arrived or left despite having informed them of our arrival time; we were let in by another guest. The room was comfortable but noticeably dusty, and breakfast was just okay.

The receptionist was very friendly, everything was clean, and the room was pretty good; despite being directly on the train line, it wasn’t noisy because the room faced away from the tracks. The industrial parquet floor looked nice. The whole building, including the room, is permeated by an unpleasant sweet cleaning‑product smell. The shower feels like an 80s model and even a corner is missing. It’s too tight for big people. The night‑stand lighting is about 30 cm above the table, fixed to the wall and pointing downwards. Reading in bed is impossible, and the ceiling light, which can be turned on from bed, is far away and dim. I don’t watch TV, but it’s noticeable that the TV can only be seen from the bed when legs are flat; raised knees block the picture.

The hotel is very close to the town centre and the market square has nice shops. Unfortunately, the hotel is very sound‑prone and the flushing of the toilet or the water pipes are very loud.

The breakfast was very good and the staff were okay, but the room could have been a bit cleaner.
