Good value for money, but the rooms could use a renovation.
Good location. The fridge was empty.
I stayed over the weekend and there was no staff on site for the room.
“Keine glänzende Perle am Main!”
There was a steady flow of hot and cold water, and the advertised Wi‑Fi worked. I arrived on Sunday at 17:30 and the building felt deserted, with no cars or people around. A note on a mini‑safe by a garden chair told me to call a phone number, which directed me to enter a code on the safe’s display, but some of the buttons were unreadable. I had to force the key to open the lock. The house and room smelled like they had been poorly ventilated for days, and the room door had to be locked because it would open on its own. The TV only had radio, and despite a note with input instructions and DVB‑S on Facebook, there was no signal (no F‑plugs were used). A note said breakfast was from 06:00 am Monday to Friday, but at 07:30 there was no breakfast available; a staff member then prepared it. The rolls were crusty on the outside and very cold inside, and there were plastic grapes on the cheese slices. The first latte from the machine had no milk. The bike parking was not available in the existing bike garage. Never again!
