A terrace on the ground‑floor unit offers garden, pool, mountain, river and inner‑courtyard views, and a private pool sits just outside the door. The room sleeps two and includes a tea/coffee maker, refrigerator, minibar, iron‑on facilities, a socket by the bed and air‑purifying, carbon‑monoxide‑detected, air‑conditioned climate control. The private bathroom features a sauna, free toiletries, a bath or shower and a hairdryer. Free Wi‑Fi is provided throughout the room.
“Beautiful Douro Valley Retreat with the Loveliest Host”
We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta de Raj. The property is beautiful, peaceful and very well maintained, with stunning views over the Douro Valley. Everything was spotless and comfortable, and the swimming pool and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing. Valeria, the owner, is such a lovely lady — incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. She really made us feel at home and made our stay even more special. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Douro region. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Quinta de Raj. There was honestly nothing we didn’t like. We had a wonderful stay and only wish we could have stayed longer!

The place is spotless, the welcome is superb, the view is magnificent, and the appetizer platter was extremely generous. We booked a couple’s massage, but it felt more like a drainage than anything else! The hot water bathtub was unavailable because of a fire alert.
