The room was stunning, the staff incredibly kind, and the yukata provided was gorgeous (and they even taught you how to wear it). The internal onsen was very nice, and the on‑site restaurant was excellent! I wouldn’t change anything.

“Lovely authentic stay in the heart of the iconic Kinosaki Onsen town.”

I stayed right in the heart of town, and the private onsen was lovely—just a reasonable extra charge for 45 minutes. I had developed mobility issues a few days before the trip, so the staff moved me to a lower room on the spot, and it turned out to be much bigger, which really helped my comfort while hobbling. The hotel is close to the train station, but the shuttle only went one way.

The staff were kind and responded carefully to everything I asked. I only had breakfast, but it was very tasty and the price was 1,100円, which is very reasonable. The dashi in particular was superb. The balcony railing is made of transparent acrylic, so you can see inside from outside; maybe a wooden lattice for the lower half would be better.
