“When we got to our room later that night we noticed water under the rug.”

We were thrilled with our room – spotless and the bed felt incredibly cozy. The dining experience at Dragos, however, fell flat; the casino’s food used to be stellar, but this time it was underwhelming. We tried crab cakes that were just okay, Boudain balls that didn’t even resemble Boudain and had a strange taste, and the gumbo was the highlight, yet it was a $80 letdown. At about 11:00 pm we headed to the snack bar, and the situation got worse: after waiting roughly 15 minutes for nachos and corn dogs, my husband noticed the young staff member had stacked our order on top of the microwave. Another 10 minutes passed before we asked the desk, and they confirmed the food had been left there for 15 minutes, likely because the staff was on break. By then everything was cold, and we could have waited another 20 minutes if we had spoken up. The restaurants clearly need serious improvement. We left to find breakfast the next day and will return for the room but not for the food.
