“Lovely spot ! Highly recommanded !”
An amazing nice place, especially if you like being left all alone in a waterfall park at night :-) After 19:00 no one is there, not even to welcome you and it's just you and the waterfalls. A bottle of wine and a basket with goods were waiting for us, which was great! Nothing to complain about.

The converted mill turned into a lovely apartment. The beds were super comfy and the place was spotless when we arrived. I really appreciated the location – it sits inside Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park. When the park’s gates are closed, you practically have the whole park to yourself, including the parking lots, which can get packed during opening hours. When it’s closed to visitors, you’re a kilometre away from any other accommodation, so you’re far from crowds. You can enjoy breakfast and dinner in complete peace, surrounded by birdsong and frogs. After dinner, a walk through the softly lit park at night is a treat.

We stayed in a beautiful countryside house surrounded by an even more stunning park. Everything matched the photos perfectly, and we even got a lovely welcome basket. However, the house had a strong closed-in smell and was quite humid. We also had issues with insects coming in through the windows, and there was a leak in the bedroom ceiling. The location wasn't ideal for city life, but I only mention these things as a heads up – for me, the stay was still positive.

The place is great: location, the cottage’s size and décor, and thoughtful extras like milk, coffee, cornflakes, fruit, bread, tea, wine, etc. The air‑conditioning works well. The only thing I’d suggest is adding curtains to all windows so that people on the sofa bed aren’t woken by daylight.
The spot is fantastic, the apartment is cozy, and in the evenings you’re the only guest on the property. They recently added AC and heaters, making the place even more comfortable.
