The house was absolutely gorgeous.

I found the hotel in the heart of Guimaraes, and the entrance was really welcoming. The recent renovation looks good, and the breakfast table service is unique, though it could cut down on waste, which is already a positive. The building is mostly well insulated, except when guests use water in their rooms, but that’s not a big deal.

The location was perfect for the historic centre and our room had balconies overlooking the main square. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with eggs made to order
