The staff were very friendly and helpful. We planned to do the alpine route and they gave us bus tips for the next day, route maps, and other stuff, plus arranged luggage transport.

Walking down from Mount Rishan to Hekubu and soaking in the hot spring was so relaxing. The place also has a massage room, a ping‑pong room, and tasty ice cream, and the rooms are spacious. Inside the inn, the owner’s collection of crafts fills the space, making it feel like a museum. The downside is that because the inn is in the mountains, there are a lot of stinky bugs in the rooms, and many of them stuck.

There were many interesting displays inside the facility. The bath was very clean. While shampooing, my hair fell out a lot, so I tried to remove it from the drain, but a sign was posted. After cleaning the hair from the drain, they offered me a 50‑yen item that was sold unattended in the facility! I took the Korean rice without hesitation. This time I stayed only for the room. I went to Kurobe Dam, was exhausted, and slept soundly until morning. The only disappointment, as other reviews mentioned, was that there was no TV in the room.

The staff were wonderful. When I mentioned I’d watched a motorcycle YouTube video, they showed me the room I’d stayed in, which was a nice memory. Thanks! Because of rain, I had to park my bike under the roof in front of the entrance. The only downside was that there were only two toilets, one of which was a Japanese style; I wondered if that’s still the norm today.
