The team went above and beyond—friendly, helpful, and made our stay unforgettable! The host waited for us at dinner, was very knowledgeable, and the chef even came out to chat and share his recipe when we asked. We stayed in the Birds Nest and loved every moment, even catching a stunning display of the dancing Northern Lights.

The hotel's location isn’t really a factor, the morning buffet met our expectations and the dinner was excellent even though we couldn’t order à la carte—it was served to us and was delightful, albeit pricey for a three‑course menu; on the downside, the rooms are only reachable on foot, about a 10‑minute walk over a gravel path through the woods, with luggage ferried by staff to the “forest cabins,” which makes it unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues, the cabins are generally small, some entrances are steep and only reachable via narrow wooden stairs, most lack showers so you have to walk back to the sauna house, and the toilets run on water that requires a paper filter, which failed twice in our two cabins, which was quite inconvenient.

The idea, design, and surrounding environment are all very carefully done with respect for the environment. Nothing negative.
