“Wat een unieke ervaring op het Veerse Meer!”

When we arrived, we were immediately impressed: the ship looks beautiful, well‑maintained, and modern, and it offers all comforts. It really feels like a high‑quality, luxurious way to stay on a boat. For us, the sunny deck was the highlight. During the day it’s great to relax and enjoy the sun, but at night the spot feels almost magical. From the deck, right in the middle of the calm water, we could admire a stunning starry sky with even several shooting stars. Truly a unique experience! Waking up the next morning with a view of a gorgeous sunrise made it all the more complete. The facilities at WSB de Arne are a great addition to the stay. You can rent a boat and go out on the water yourself, or stay active with wakeboarding. In short, it’s an absolute recommendation for anyone looking for relaxation, and a special experience on the Veerse Meer. We’ll definitely come back again!

The boat was great, with a fantastic view over the Veerse Meer. Warm reception and the host was always available and very helpful. There was no coat rack or hooks for jackets.

“Wat een teleurstellende accomodatie”

The view over the Veerse Meer is fantastic. Maybe we’re odd, but I would still appreciate it if there were curtains in the bedroom. A white paper screen doesn’t block the sun at 6 am. Curtains hang everywhere except in the bedroom. The description says parking is possible at the accommodation, but that’s 650 m walk. You can’t get closer to the boat with your car. Not convenient when you have to walk that far with holiday groceries. The kitchen description says there’s a dishwasher, we opened all cabinets but found none. The tap water isn’t drinkable. The boat is tilted, probably because of the heavy outboard motor at the back. The bedding was minimal. We had a single sheet on our double bed, so I ended up on the bare mattress after a few turns at night. That didn’t feel hygienic. Also a pump or fan under the bedroom kept humming all night. After booking through Booking, the host asked us to fill in all personal details again on a different website that wasn’t Booking. That felt suspicious and very annoying. When we asked if we could check out a few hours later, we were told we’d have to pay 31 euro extra. Normally that’s a gesture when it’s possible because of the next guests, not because you want to make more money from customers who already paid too much for this disappointing stay.
