Grand Hotel Tijuana is located near Tijuana Airport, the guests Border, and city centre. The hotel features spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool, gym, and restaurant. Air-conditioned rooms have modern décor, sofa, cable TV, and bathroom with free toiletries. A 4-500 Bar and poolside bar are available. The hotel is next to Campestre de Tijuana Sports Complex, with easy access to the 1 Motorway.

The view of the golf course and the surrounding city was nice, and although the breakfast buffet isn’t included in the room price, it’s worth it. The hotel is all‑round beautiful with a nice interior, but the hotel workers, especially the restaurant staff, had poor attitudes.

The hotel was spotless, contemporary, and the staff were extremely friendly. The pool was warm and inviting, but I wish there were more seating and cabanas around it; a lot of the perimeter space feels wasted. I also wanted clearer information about early check‑in. I decided to arrive early at 1 pm, and fortunately the room was ready, just as they used to do when rooms were unsold the night before. A few years back I drove from Los Angeles at 7 am, reached Tijuana by 9 am, called for an early check‑in, and the room was ready; I was enjoying the pool by 10:30 am, which was the best stay ever. I’ve tried to replicate that experience recently, but it hasn’t happened. Other than that, the hotel is amazing!!!
