The location is convenient, an 11‑minute walk from the station, with easy access to nearby food and shops, and a 10‑plus minute walk to the biggest electronics store, Yodobashi, making toy shopping very easy. Inside there are two rooms with four beds; staying alone feels a bit wasteful, but it’s good value for money.

The apartment was fine, but it was designed for up to four people while we were six, which didn’t pose a major issue. We were a 6‑7 minute walk from Ikebukuro station and the main district, a big plus, and several convenience stores and restaurants were nearby. The downside was that the toilet and shower were combined, so if someone used one, it made it difficult for others.
