Casa Trilho the Gaios

The place sits right next to the Gaios trail and the welcome was great; everything was spotless and the area is peaceful. The microwave was broken and in a spot that didn’t feel right.

The location is close to the trail and the access is good, but the top floor was scorching even though the air conditioning was on and it didn’t cool that floor.

The air conditioning works. It’s fine for a night or two, but it’s not enough for longer stays; there are no curtains in the room, the cleanliness is only average, the access is tricky, towel replacements are not provided for fifteen days, there’s no contact with the host, the bathroom is too small, there’s no storage, and the room is a mansard that won’t fit anyone shorter than 1.70 m, among other issues.

Overall, the location and space are decent. It’s good, but lacks details like blackout curtains and napkins; otherwise the space is well arranged. The staff are very friendly, offering constructive criticism.

“Estava engraçada a casa mas merecia uma limpeza e privacidade melhor!”

I didn’t get breakfast at all! The windows don’t provide privacy, the bed linen smelled musty and didn’t feel clean, and there was no sense of a tidy home.
