The hotel was very welcoming and comfortable with nice staff and people, but I found a fake nail in the bed.

We liked the convenience of the location and the walking distance to restaurants and stores, and the nearby hiking trail was enjoyable, but it was heartbreaking to see homelessness; as a paying customer for the facilities, coffee bar and breakfast, I couldn’t understand why the front desk representative didn’t redirect the homeless man who easily took two coffees and muffins early before 6:30 when guests were waiting for the restaurant to open; he was unkept and dirty, touching the coffee dispenser and the muffin lid; I agree empathy is key to helping others, and at least someone working at the hotel could have helped him.

The front desk staff were kind, but there were no amenities.

The hotel was very clean and the reception was efficient, and you can add breakfast at a reasonable price.
