The hotel itself was nice and set in a pleasant spot, but the staff were terrible. Three grown men arrived and we had booked a family room with three double beds, yet the reception handed us keys to a room with only one double bed and offered no warning or apology. The front desk only spoke Spanish, and a random passer‑by ended up translating and pressuring the receptionist, who finally told the passer‑by that the family room was already occupied. After a call with the owner, the receptionist finally gave us two rooms, but his attitude was shockingly rude and insolent. Without that stranger’s help the situation would probably have escalated into a full‑blown conflict and we would have had to find another place to stay.
