The location is great, but it’s best to have a car; otherwise you’ll have to take a taxi from downtown Humahuaca, which costs around 4000 pesos. It depends on how tired you are because it’s uphill. The place is beautiful, the wifi works perfectly, there’s a lovely park where you can grill and they provide water and an electric kettle so you can make tea or mate whenever you want. The inner garden is gorgeous and Estela is wonderful, she gives you everything you need and explains it all. Highly recommended. The only thing, which isn’t a big deal, is that the patio lights stay on and the room curtains don’t block enough light, so it’s a minor detail for those who prefer a darker room.

Nothing positive. The main issues: it’s far from town for those without a car, and the biggest problem was that there was no staff to attend us, no code to enter the rooms. We arrived at 11 am and after about 13 messages and calls (none answered) we finally learned how to get a key from the kitchen, enter, and then get a room key that didn’t have a lock. We had to wait until 19 hs for a neighbor to give us towels, and we had to help other Swiss guests who had been without rooms since 12 hs. At 19 hs we managed to get a room through the neighbor, but supposedly someone was going to come and never did. The next day at breakfast the person who should have been there appeared, but never apologized. A disaster. Today there are so many ways to access rooms with codes and other systems… there’s a lot to be wished for. As the Swiss said, because they don’t close.

“The worst place I have ever stayed at avoid at all cost”

It had parking. Check‑in was scheduled for 2 pm but nobody was there until 5 pm. No wifi or AC, and we had to ask for towels and soap. Around 11:30 pm some random people unlocked our door and tried to get in until we yelled at them.

The room itself was comfortable, the bathroom was full and everything was clean. Breakfast was fine and always on time. Rodrigo at reception and management was excellent and very friendly, he gave us a lot of information. The bed should have been a super‑large bed, but it was only regular size. The accommodation claimed to have a mountain view, but it didn’t. These details make it not exactly what we expected, although everything else was very good.
