Hilton Shanghai City Center

The products and services you offer are excellent, except for the coffee which is really bad. The coffee quality needs to improve to match the overall standard of your service and products.

“I would recommend it as an affordable five-star hotel, but do not expect genuine five-star service. If breakfast is impo”

The hotel is beautiful and clean, feels safe, has good facilities and a wide range of products. However, there were two major drawbacks. The breakfast buffet was huge and offered many options, but most were geared toward Asian tastes, and several items were not very appealing to European guests. Given the buffet’s size, there should be at least one small but well‑rounded section with European‑style choices. Moreover, almost none of the staff spoke English; communication relied on gestures or a translation app. It’s extremely disappointing for a five‑star hotel that management hasn’t ensured enough staff have at least basic English skills for international guests.

“非常完美， 希尔顿一直以来的水平”

The bathroom and the curtains are fully automatic and work perfectly, and the hotel lobby impressed me, but the breakfast didn’t match the quality of the one at Hilton Tianhe in Guangzhou and the stir‑fry selection was far too limited.
