Hotel Zum Schwan

The location, overall ambience, dining room and food are all very good; the rooms are in great condition and the furnishings, combined with the timber framing, are quite appealing. The staff are very friendly, but the towels were in a very poor state and already worn out.

The rooms are well equipped, the staff friendly, and the restaurant good—though it was closed for two days. Dogs are allowed for just €15 per stay. Breakfast is decent; on request you can get egg‑spoon or scrambled eggs, the fruit selection sometimes includes frozen items, and the yogurt is presented somewhat carelessly.

“Wir haben recht gut geschlafen, für eine Übernachtung , ok”

The breakfast buffet was sustainable and liked, but not plentiful, especially considering the high price; breakfast would have been fair if included in the room rate. Parking availability is simply catastrophic—one must look for a spot in public parking; the extra charge for breakfast feels outdated or like a new trend to gouge guests.
