The place is very beautiful amid the forests, and the resort staff were friendly, but the location is far and the transport network is poor.
“Afgelegen mooie omgeving”
The setting is beautiful and the rooms are fairly spacious, but we didn’t get the units we had reserved. We were nine people who booked ten beds across four separate units, yet the owner claimed some of those units didn’t exist and blamed the booking error, making it impossible to receive them. He also insisted we had only booked for eight and tried to charge us for an extra person, even though we had ten beds. Breakfast was okay, but there was no coffee and no eggs; the eggs had to be ordered at three euros each, which is very pricey. So despite the lovely surroundings, the experience was only mediocre.
The staff were incredibly good, and breakfast featured excellent local dishes. Dinner was prepared quickly and tasted great. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy nature, away from the city and crowds.
