The unique location at Le Morne Beach, with the best island beach practically at the doorstep, and the very comfortable large rooms made arriving and relaxing a breeze. The staff could have been a little friendlier; we sometimes had to wait quite a while for service, but the hotel was also fully booked.

The room was spacious and the bedding superb. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh items. The beaches were well kept, with unlimited loungers and umbrellas. Many water sports were included. An electric shuttle takes you to the neighboring Dinarobin hotel, which has a gorgeous, unheated pool that is child‑free. The heated pool is reserved for families with kids, so you can’t swim or even lounge there (tip: skip South African school holidays). No snorkel fins are loaned unless you join a guided outing from the marine base. The hotel’s restaurants are good but pricey; luckily there’s a decent Wapalapam chain restaurant right at the complex entrance.

The variety of restaurants, the beach’s proximity, the room quality, and the staff all stood out. The poolside lounge chairs were noticeably scarce compared to the number of guests at the hotel.

The hotel is amazing! The service is good, rooms are large, we were upgraded to a honeymoon suite, the view is stunning, and the food is delicious.
