Christiana Lodge

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was pretty, well decorated, with a shower and a bathtub. The balcony was nice. We liked being able to sip wine in the cozy common lounge. The staff were attentive and gave us good restaurant recommendations nearby. It was a great spot to start a trip to Robberg Nature Reserve for a beautiful hike!

“Sensacional!”

We loved everything and everyone at Christiana Lodge! From reception to service, room, facilities, cleanliness, location, staff, breakfast, dinner – everything was absolutely perfect! A special shout‑out to Faith for being extremely attentive and kind all the time, to chef Debbie for an unforgettable dinner, and to the whole kitchen team for the delicious and amazing breakfast with a stunning view of Plettenberg Bay. The granola made by the staff is the best I’ve ever had! Congratulations Christiana Lodge!

The location was fine for our needs. Restaurant reservations and taxi rides were organized satisfactorily by the hotel. The breakfast table was very nicely set. The room was very bare and cold, likely because of the stone floor. It was also very damp – in the morning my phone wouldn’t charge until it was “dried” under the blanket. Clothes and towels were damp too. The night before we asked if there were heated blankets – we were offered hot water bottles. The heaters in the room barely warmed the space. Breakfast had no pastries (bread, etc.), but there was butter and jam on the table. We suspect that because we only stayed one night, we were given a poorly equipped room.

Very luxurious and accessible. The food was very special and tasty. Top location with a great breakfast. In one word, fantastic.
