Lovely room, great location, and very attentive and helpful staff. The breakfast was very nice and there are plenty of thoughtful touches.

“Would only stay again Ground floor upwards.”

I found the place quirky and different, but the lower ground lacked natural ventilation and smelled musty; it looked nice, yet the refurbishment didn’t consider the end‑user experience.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the location suited our needs, and the room was amazing; the only drawback was that it was hot, so a fan would help circulate air on warmer days.

“It was ok for a night but for the cost expected better”

The staff were very nice and friendly, doing everything they could to accommodate me and keeping bookings and communications smooth; however, the room was in the basement—a surprise I wish I’d known about—and felt damp, so for the price I expected a higher‑standard room, which was a bit disappointing.
