“I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It's the worst hotel I've ever seen.”

We booked a room from the 1st to the 5th after a long drive from New York to Pittsburgh and found ourselves exhausted when we reached the hotel. After waiting a long time on the phone at the front desk, a young woman finally told us the room number and access code for room 1008. When we arrived, the room was a mess—no cleaning had taken place, the bed was untidy, and towels were scattered on the bathroom floor. I immediately took photos and sent them to the same number the woman used for the code. She then assigned us a different room, but that one smelled strongly of marijuana. I told her right away that the smell was unacceptable and that we wanted a refund. She said the manager would come in the morning to process it, but she later declined the request. We never got a refund and received no apology.

“awful”

I didn’t eat breakfast there, and I didn’t sleep well on the bed—I slept with my clothes on and was scared to walk across the floor without shoes. When I looked in the shower, there was something black in the bottom of the tub. The room had a terrible odor that stuck to my hair when I left. Parking was cramped but easy to access for anyone who wasn’t staying. The whole place was a mess, to sum it up.

“Great stay for a good price”

The room was spotless, the bathroom was clean and comfortable, the shower/bath worked and the large mirror was nice. It was quiet, no traffic noise at night, the A/C worked well, and the room was spacious for one person. The mini‑fridge was decent size and functional. Walls and floor were clean. The bed was large, soft blankets and sheets were comfortable. There were plenty of outlets—12 at once—and a full‑size mirror. The window was wonderful. The staff were super helpful, accommodating, and quick to answer questions with almost no wait time when I called. The only downside was that the A/C heater unit smelled bad when it was on the heat setting.

The hotel sits in a great spot and the price was reasonable, with the staff being friendly. Unfortunately the elevator was out of order, so we had to climb the stairs, and the garage exit was covered in a blindfold, making it hard to see when pulling out.

The place was very dingy, and the people coming in and out were unpleasant.
