Hill View House

“Ideal quiet spot for an overnight stay in Dartmouth.”

I found a perfect spot for a night out in Dartmouth, and it was incredibly quiet. The central location was great, and Jonathan made a fantastic host.

“I’d certainly stay there again. The owner was very friendly.”

Nice and quiet, but the shower door needed fixing.

The rooms matched the pictures, were quaint, and had all the gas we needed. Breakfast was spectacular, and Jonathan was very accommodating and hospitable.

“Great location and host”

My partner and I booked a last‑minute stay at Hill View House and couldn’t be happier. The location is fantastic, just a short, pleasant walk (under 10 minutes) to Dartmouth’s historic town centre and vibrant harbour, and it served as a brilliant base for exploring the wider area, making drives to Salcombe and surrounding coastal spots effortless. Jonathan was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and welcoming, going above and beyond for guests. He arranged a hassle‑free parking space throughout our trip, which was a huge bonus given our frequent car use. Thank you, Jonathan, for your warm hospitality; we had a great time and would gladly recommend Hill View House to anyone seeking a room in a perfect location.
