The staff were friendly, and the owner was kind and very accommodating.

I only stayed for 2hrs while waiting for my room to be ready at another hotel; the bunkbed and the room itself were very uncomfortable, with no electricity or water, and the owner only smiled and prioritized foreign guests. Everything else was terrible.

The staff and everyone were friendly, feeling like a family away from home, but the Wi‑Fi was slow, which is understandable given the location.

A booking mishap left no room at Titaay's, so they moved me to the neighboring Majestic Puraran; the staff were friendly and eager to help, and at least the bedroom was clean, the AC worked, and the Wi‑Fi signal was strong. However, the property is still recovering from the last typhoon—roofs are still being repaired, the grounds are littered with wreckage and debris, and the dining room looks bombed out. The staff are doing their best to keep the place open and serve meals, since there are no other restaurants or grocery stores nearby. The bathroom was in dire condition: the sink was wobbly, there was no toilet seat, no hot water, and insect carcasses—including a large cockroach—were present.
