I recently stayed at a charming countryside hotel with a lovely room and friendly staff, but unfortunately, the on-site restaurant was closed over the weekend, which was a bit of a letdown.

While the hotel offered free underground parking, the overall value for money was off the mark. The rustic, old building had its charm, but the room was lacking in modern amenities, with a standing fan awkwardly placed in the middle of the room, and the temperature under the attic was unbearably warm.
