“Peaceful stay in dreamy Midlands garden”

Breakfast was amazing, with inventive and thoughtful options that were original and good value. The gardens were exquisite, and I loved the stream, the flowers, and the birdlife. Having filter coffee in your bedroom instead of those environmentally harmful plastic pod machines was a great touch.

The guesthouse exceeded all expectations. I loved the large bedroom and bathroom, and the rooms were beautifully decorated with attention to detail that really stood out.

I returned for a second visit and was thrilled; Tanya was again the best host, making the place feel even better than home, and I can’t wait to come back.

Tanya is a very attentive and caring host, offering excellent advice and a tasteful ambience; the room and bathroom were spacious, and comfort was enhanced with a heated blanket, a heated towel rack, and bathrobes. The river view is beautiful, the breakfast superb, and Tanja decorates heavily with flowers; we received a welcome sherry and the Wi‑Fi is excellent. We felt very comfortable and would return.
