I recently stayed at a hotel that offered an unbeatable location - everything I needed was just a stone's throw away. However, my experience was marred by a couple of issues that left a sour taste in my mouth. The room wasn't as clean as I had hoped, and to make matters worse, the elevator was out of order, which made navigating the hotel a real challenge. Despite these setbacks, I still managed to find some redeeming qualities in my stay.
“Shelter for transit”
I stayed at a hotel that offered a convenient location, with the bus stop for Medan Amplas Terminal right next door. It's also just a 10-minute drive to Stasiun Sintar. The 24-hour reception was a nice touch, but unfortunately, the hotel's bathroom facilities felt a bit outdated. As a solo traveler looking for a place to rest, I found it suitable, but I wouldn't recommend it for couples due to the lack of complimentary amenities like bottled water.
