“Such a bad experience”

The room was nice, and the female host was friendly. The male host was rude and disrespectful.

The owner was nice and the location was calm.

“Excellent value for money”

The spot is great, and the owner is super welcoming, giving good value for the price. The only downside is that the shower doesn’t have hot water, and you might want a scooter to get around for restaurants and activities.

I stayed at this cozy homestay in a tiny village just 50 meters from the beach, surrounded by nature. Riza, the owner, looked after us nicely. The room was clean, big and bright. Some babies and kids were noisy, but overall it was pretty quiet. Hot and cold water were free. New motorbikes were available for rent at the usual price. A few basic local restaurants were close by for simple meals. Bananas and papaya could be found in the village. The beach was lovely, and the area was free of tourists. There was no Wi‑Fi, so I brought a Telecomsel SIM. The beach reception was decent but not great. It met my basic needs, and I’ll definitely come back.
