Hotel Hillock

After catching an early‑morning train, we arrived hours before check‑in and were offered a complimentary breakfast, then relaxed in the spacious lobby. The buffet was excellent and the staff were attentive and friendly; the hotel’s location is great and it has a certain grandeur. On the downside, some fixtures and fittings in the rooms are old, making the rooms feel less clean than they could; the bedroom door didn’t seal properly, so every corridor and atrium noise was audible.

“Amazing stay”

Everything was perfect, except the TV was not working.

“Very pleasant. Good rooms, good food and good service”

The rooms were spacious and the service was warm, but they are strictly vegetarian—no eggs for breakfast.

“Leuke personeel. Hotel geen 4 sterren kwaliteit”

The staff were extremely helpful, and the hotel is within walking distance of the lake, though you have to take the usual busy Indian road for the walk; the restaurant was good and the pool pretty, but the rooms are overdue for renovation, not worthy of four stars, with stained linens, a musty smell, old dirty carpets beside the bed, an aging bathroom that leaked, and the price felt high for the quality.

“overall a good expereince and wont mind staying again”

the only issue was that your witers and other boys were always expecing a tip for even atteding to nget paid.ormal room service etc and instead of 1 guy 3 or 4would linger on to get tipped. lower staff behaviour as regards tipping
