Staff communication was good, the room and location were lovely, and it was easy to book, find, and access the room. The kitchen area lacked a tap, and I think there could have been bottled water in the fridge since the only water source is in the bathroom.

The facilities were clean and well‑maintained, the owner was communicative and available when needed, and access to the facility was straightforward with clear guidance. If you’re looking for a relaxing and calm area for your stay, I would recommend “The Anchor.”

Right from the moment we stepped in, everything felt spot-on, making the short one‑night stay feel surprisingly complete, even though that was all our travel plans could accommodate.

It ranks among the top places I've stayed at in a long time; if you’re nearby, you should book here if you can.

The setting is gorgeous and tranquil, though installing blackout blinds and tidying the garden would enhance the experience.
