“Fantastico”

Unfortunately the sea was covered in algae—the only place on the island with that problem—and it was a real disappointment. The dinner on the 23rd was very nice; we ate there twice and the food was consistently good, and the palapa offered a pleasant quick‑bite option. Apart from the algae, which the hotel can’t control, the only issue was that everything closed early, with the palapa shutting at 9 pm on the 23rd and at 9:30 pm thereafter, leaving no place to eat or drink after that.

The place is huge, beautifully located, and the golf cart we got with every stay is just fantastic. The Wi‑Fi is terrible.

The accommodation is amazing—those villas are incredible. However, the common areas feel very outdated; the restaurants, pools, and beach and pool furniture all need urgent modernization. The beach is filthy, with tons of plastic on the sand and in the water, and I've never seen staff pick it up. The entertainment is barely tolerable.
